By using Project Food, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. About Project Food
Project Food is a plant diversity tracker. It helps you log and track the variety of plants you eat each week, with a goal of 30 different plants. Project Food is not a medical service and does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice.
2. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Project Food. If you are between 13 and 16, you may only use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Your account is personal and may not be shared or transferred. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Project Food to:
- •spam or harass other users
- •scrape, copy, or redistribute any data from the platform
- •impersonate another person or entity
- •use the service in any way that violates applicable laws
5. No Medical Advice
Project Food provides personal tracking tools only. Nothing on this platform should be interpreted as medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified health professional for advice about your diet or health.
6. Intellectual Property
The Project Food app, website, and all original content are owned by Project Food. Your plant log data remains yours. By using the service, you grant Project Food a limited licence to store and display your data to provide the service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, Project Food is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the Account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands. The Dutch language version of these Terms prevails in case of discrepancy.
